The Alpine Convention –IMA Coordination Unit co-operates and provides technical–scientific support to major international organizations, such as UNEP Regional Office for Europe (UNEP/ROE), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the European Commission, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) and the Mountain Partnership.

Nimbus magazine, provides up to date weather forecasts on both sides of the park.
Interregional Association for Snow and Avalanches (AINEVA) maintains a bulletin - Bollettino Aineva Neve e valanghe which provides snow and avalanche reports in the Alps in winter.
GSE-AIESG "Gruppo Stambecco Europa Alpine Ibex European Specialist Group" works in the conservation of the Alpine ibex. Housed within the park, the GSE-AIESG secretariat's primary objective is the collection of information relative to the state of conservation of Alpine ibex on the whole alpine arch.
Journal of Mountain Ecology is a peer reviewed scientific journal published by the Gran Paradiso National Park. The journal publishes papers on the most diverse aspects of mountain ecology and has covered Alpine ibex and other mountain ungulates in its issues.
Alpine Network of Protected Areas, an outcome of the Alpine Convention, currently encompasses around 800 protected areas. The network organises regular meetings on alpine conservation issues and has formed a working group on ungulates.

Sagarmatha National Park

Ev-K2CNR is an Italian expedition conducting high altitude research within the National Park.
Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is an independent apex body established in 1982 to promote of science and technology in the country. It manages the high altitude research station in partnership with Ev-K2CNR.
HKKH Partnership Project brings together the expertise of four international organisations - CESVI, ICIMOD, - CESVI, ICIMOD, Ev-K2CNR and IUCN in transboundary protected area management. The portal features a knowledge base and an interactive map among others.

The Transboundary Biodiversity Conservation Program of The Mountain Institute (TMI) has helped facilitate cooperative management of over 42,000 square kilometers in contiguous protected areas of the Mount Everest extended ecosystem.
International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD)
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal Program conducts a number of projects towards biodiversity conservation. It has been instrumental in establishing the Sagarmatha Agroforestry Initiative and the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Centre
National Trust For Nature Conservation (NTNC) works in the field of nature conservation and sustainable development in Nepal. NTNC has successfully undertaken many small a large projects on nature conservation, biodiversity tourism development management and sustainable rural development. At present, NTNC manages ACAP and MCAP together with other projects.
