Sagarmatha National Park
- Ev-K2CNR is an Italian expedition conducting high altitude research within the National Park.

- World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal Program conducts a number of projects towards biodiversity conservation. It has been instrumental in establishing the Sagarmatha Agroforestry Initiative and the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Centre
- National Trust For Nature Conservation (NTNC) works in the field of nature conservation and sustainable development in Nepal. NTNC has successfully undertaken many small a large projects on nature conservation, biodiversity tourism development management and sustainable rural development. At present, NTNC manages ACAP and MCAP together with other projects.
